The Treacherous Crossroads of Race and Ethnicity

November 28 I did a lecture at University of Connecticut Storrs titled "From Hip Hop to Reggaeton" and subtitled "The Treacherous Crossroads of Race and Ethnicity," sponsored by the Puerto Rican and Latino Studies Institute and the Puerto Rican and Latin American Cultural Center. I'm pleased that The Daily Campus published an article about it and, even more, that the writer highlighted my concerns regarding the traps of the racial and ethnic categories we use.
